Raysolve Steals the Show at SID Display Week 2023 with its Brilliant Full-Color Micro-LED Micro-Displays

The most important professional event in the display industry, SID Display Week 2023, was held in Los Angeles from May 23rd to 25th. This event attracted the latest technologies and products from around the world. Raysolve participated in the event and showcased its latest breakthroughs: standardized single-chip full-color Micro-LED micro-displays and full-color optical waveguide modules. The cutting-edge technology on display has set new records in the micro-display field and is considered a game-changer.

At the SID Display Week 2023 exhibition, Raysolve unveiled their 0.11-inch and 0.22-inch single-chip full-color Micro-LED micro-displays, which are the smallest sizes in the field. The 0.11-inch chip weighs only 0.23g and has a full-color resolution of 320×240, while the 0.22-inch chip weighs 0.29g and has a full-color resolution of 640×480. Both chips have an ultra-small pixel pitch of 3.5 μm, ultra-high Micro-LED pixel density of 7200 PPI, and full-color brightness of over 100,000 nits. They support a working temperature range of -20℃~85℃.

Raysolve has developed a photolithographic Quantum Dot (QD) technology to create a QD film with a thickness of only 2 μm on blue Micro-LED arrays, enabling full-color display with high conversion efficiency of QDs and high-resolution characteristics of the photoresist. Additionally, they have implemented crosstalk elimination technology to prevent light crosstalk among pixels, resulting in high color purity. This technology offers a practical solution for producing full-color micro-LED micro-displays on a large scale.
The test data shows that the device has exceptional color performance, boasting a color gamut of 133.0% sRGB, 94.2% NTSC, and 98.1% DCI-P3. Additionally, the device has a 24-bit gray level, a contrast ratio exceeding 2,000,000:1, and can achieve a frame rate of up to 360Hz. Overall, the device’s color, clarity, and fluency are outstanding, indicating great potential for expanding the boundaries of future AR applications.
For the past 17 years, innovation has been a guiding principle for the Raysolve team. Every milestone achieved marks a new beginning, as the team continues to pursue technical advancements and collaborate closely with industry partners. Through their efforts, Raysolve aims to unlock even more possibilities for Micro-LED micro-displays.
